she was the welcome speaker on my first day at college. she kept using the most deliberate enunciations and it nearly drove me buggy. "go to your classes, and say to your professors, i. want. it. i am here to get. it." i think she was trying to be deep with the "it" that we were there to get, but it must have went over my stupid head
