Some stuff I noticed on TV

That Canadian program, Cold Squad, is really bad. The acting makes me like… cringe.

Also, I saw on a local TV program called ‘Going Nowhere Slowly’ (it’s about random South Africans who drive around most of Southern Africa and see random things and make jokes and talk shit and things. It’s actually quite inspiring, and people here really enjoy it).
Anyway, they were at some Island, and the one guy was commenting on the colour of the water, which he said reminded him of Miami. He then sai he felt like he was in a rap video.
He thought about it for a second, and then said: ‘But it’s not a rap video. Because there aren’t enough niggers and bitches’.

And it was weird to hear a South Africa say ‘Nigger’. He was also a black guy, but I don’t think that excuses it. But it was funny that it didn’t get edited out. I mean, in SA, it doesn’t imply a whole lot of racial connotation like over there. We’re a pretty open country and we can laugh at ourselves.

But yeah. I just thought it was weird, watching this program and hearing that randomly.

I for one am utterly dissapointed at the abysmal lack of Halloween themed programming tonight. About the only decent effort put forth was when the comedy network aired a mediocre Treehouse of Horror episode. By and large though, scanning the channels would lead one to believe that it isn't even Halloween. This whole day gets duller and duller every year. I wonder if it will even be a thing by decades end.

cold squad fucking blows, i can't believe they have it on in africa.

i watched treehouse of horrors 13 which is much better than the awful new one from last night. I had good hopes this season for the Simpsons and now they're all gone.

I think they got desperate and figured us backwards Africans probably wouldn't notice how shti it was.

But we noticed, buddy, we noticed. Now they show it on Sunday nights at like 11:00 when everyone decent is sleeping.

The acting is terrible. So hollow and fake, and cliche and blah.
