we have one of those automatic timers on the microwave, you know, the ones where you enter a number between on and ten and press START? well, it doesn't work on ours, but i always try to make it work, like i'm gonna outsmart the thing or something.

I was asked how I microwaved my potatoes... Apparently some people just don't know how to do it.

To them, I'm like the guru of microwaved potatoes.

Those Simply Potatoes packs are pretty good. They're actually just, like, potatoes.

Thumbs up

Just stab them with a fork and maybe put a knife right through the centre of one before microwaving, then put it in the oven for a few minutes afterwards.

I like the potatoes that are already washed and wrapped in plastic so all you have to do is throw them in the microwave

hmm...this might be the reason i will probably eventually end up buying a microwave. i like baked potatoes and if you microwave them, they're not bad at all...

one of the half-stick of butter ones or the full stick ones? i was used to the half stick ones and then i bought like 9 boxes of full stick ones. thats twice as much mac and cheese. i usually leave like a cup or half a cup out of the huge pot that i just cant finish

eggs in the microwave is essential if you are trying to make an Egg McMuffin

The eggs turn out the same way that McDonalds do

1 min for each egg, and they kind of come out circular if you put them in bowl

Otherwise its pretty gross

Nothin' wrong with microwaved bacon. It hurts to cook bacon on the stove. Popping grease everywhere and shit. Ugh.

And a full stick of butter for mac n cheese? EW.

fry the bacon a little less on the high heat side, you fool!

microwaved bacon is just not the right kind of crispy

I've tried it on high-heat, medium-heat.... I always get burned

Microwaved bacon can be just as good as pan bacon if it's done right, which is difficult to do (It took me about 4 or 5 tries to get it juuuuust right).

You can get the kind that's already cooked that you just heat up in the microwave. It's real bacon, there's nothing wrong with it.

I don't like crispy bacon, though.
