san fransisco is a famously fantastic town. ive never been anywhere cool but just by what ive heard id say its probably better than nyc. just because you had friends in nyc and noone cares about you in SF it doesnt mean the whole city is to blame

no, it's just dull

everything closes down earlier, there aren't nearly as many young, stylish people, there aren't good clubs, only one or two decent bars, no real art world to speak of, a lot of boring yuppies...

sf has good produce, lesbians and warm winters. other than that, not much.
