I just watched the episode where Siyad finds Ruso. Pretty boring to me.

And, as someone said, way to have an electrical cable just running into the damn ocean. Smart move, guys.

I also am peeved at there being 47 (now 46) survivors, yet you never see the other 25 at all. Like in one of the early episodes, they focus on the black lady whose husband was in the bathroom.

Since then, not a thing about her/sight of her. It's like the writers just are going from show to show and have no set goal to achieve toward.

The actress who plays Rose, the lady with the dead husband, was doing a play for most of last season. She'll be back. Her husband is one of the tail section survivors.

I really don't think the cable going into the ocean was odd, but I'm sure there'll be an explanation eventually. The thing that irritates me about it is that no one has JUST FUCKING ASKED HER ABOUT IT. In order to keep the mysteries of the show going, it seems like the characters just have to be completely uninterested in anything they come across. In the season finale, Rousseau describes the monster as a security device. No one says, "How do you know that? What is it guarding? Have you seen it? What is it?" They just keep walking. What the fuck, guys.

this episode was fucking crucial. the flashback was pointless again but took up a lot less time. and the hatch storyline didn't advance at all but the stuff with kate, desmond, and locke were better than anything last week.

sawyer is awesome. pulling the bullet out with his fingers. "got a band-aid?"

and the last minute made me shit my pants.

her name was in the credits, along with some others that Entertainment billed as coming into the picture, but they were only glimpsed at the end and the previews for next week.

all in all, i was extremely disappointed with this week. the end was almost the same as last week.

im pissed there was no jin, and i was pissed at how poorly sawyer and michael played out the scenes on the remnants of the raft.

Question

Everyone is talking about the cable, it was there to lure people in and then fall into all those traps she had set up. At least that's what I've always thought.

I've really fucked up by watching the first 12 episodes, and the newest 2.

I hope the other DVDs from Netflix get here tomorrow so I can go back and rewatch the new season's first two episodes.

I downloaded that BestBuy disc 8, it has the first recap special from season 1, plus some featurettes on behind the scenes of two episodes, plus a featurette on them discussing the whole idea of having flashbacks. And then some other thing. It's worth downloading but not a huge deal.

She had electricity, dude. And why would she WANT people to come find her? She was trying to keep away from the Others.

Oh, by the way, that Island is moving. It's either being pulled or pushed by whatever's in the water, but it's definitely moving somewhere.

Well I'll be damned!!!

That's the logo that was inside the hatch and on all of the canned food. And a bunch of other items down there.

My bro pointed out the polar bear thing, that was cool.

Yeah me and my friend were saying this. It would take away the feeling that nothing was accomplished in the 2nd episode! Michael is a boring guy, I don't think the second episode should have focused on him but it was alright.
