I spent 20 minutes setting up my old boombox since I don't listen to the radio, and finding the right cables to hook up to my soundcard.. then I got it all tuned so that the broadcast was clear... set up the levels so it was nice but not loud at any volume..
Then I waited for like 25 minutes listening to their crap til OLP came out and I taped the interview.. then waited another half hour for them to perform, listening to the crap they played until then...
Then as soon as the performance starts, this hiss comes on out of nowhere so that was annoying, then the DJ proceeds to whisper "bla bla olp on edge 102" every single chance he gets between songs or talking, and then he also talks over songs, talks over the band talking to the crowd, and they put a commercial break over an entire song. This was really disappointing.
But I plan on putting the recording on the SP hub or something. I need to edit it up, somehow I don't think anyone really gives a shit but I think the Superman's Dead performance was pretty good.

Did you like Gravity? I remember people from the o-board (that means official SP board, right? :erm I'm not down with the lingo yet) got me into OLP, and then Gravity came out.
'She wished she was a dancer
and that she never heard of cancer'
Or something like that. That line did it for me. Never liked them much after that. And I remember I road my bike two miles to Target to get the album that morning. Ouch. Still, I'd try to get in on the OLP deal at the store. If it isn't too late.
I wasn't a fan of them but I really liked Gravity and that song you're quoting from is a good song, of course it sounds dumb out of context. I listened to it last night and it was still good.
