Red face Beavis and Butthead come out of retirement.

http://www.undercover.com.au/news/20...dbutthead.html

Saw the commercial for the VMA's too. It says "And also, The Triumphant Return of Beavis and Butthead!"

I guess it is only a one time thing though, a promotional stint for an upcoming dvd.

Unless the DVD has the videos too, it's useless.

I bet the clips will be lame and cliched and they will try and find a way to work in "Cornholio"

Exactly. Those Time-Life B&B DVDs were crap.

a channel that plays no videos is giving out video music awards.

the world makes more sense to me everyday.

They play videos... at 2am.

I thought it was funny/weird that they went back playing videos 24/7 the week after Sept. 11. I wish it would have stayed that way.

i remember being in toronto for the first time in 1998.
we got muchmusic here, but it only ran until 10pm. i always wondered what came on after 10pm.
so the first evening we were there, i turn on muchmusic at like 11pm or something to find.... beavis and butthead.

i didn't have a problem with beavis and butt-head, it was more of a disappointment because i was expecting to see something i couldn't necessarily see in the us.

its sort of a good thing that mtv doesnt play videos. do you guys honestly think if they played videos like 5 hours a day that even one quality video or song would play?

Maybe not, but anything would be better than the absolute shit they play now, like Room Raiders... that show makes me want to shoot myself in the face.

There probably wouldn't be too many good songs played, but I'm sure a couple would. If they're going to call the station music television, then they'd better start getting videos back on there.

what the hell do I care, though? I have only watched those music channels they have on digital cable once. their metal channel is a fucking joke, they just play the mtv metal on there like shadows fall.

yea room raidrs sucks. they could potentially save it by throwing in awful surprises like one of the rooms belonging to a big fat old guy or a gay guy but right now its boring and when youve seen 1/3 of one episode youve seen all there is to see. some mtv shows are cool though
