Baseball Mogul 2006 on my laptop. that's all I play nowadays. I have three careers going right now, 2005 Red Sox, 2001 Red Sox (love that team, Brian Daubach, but I'm 3 mil in debt), and 1994 Twins. the Twins sucked baaaaad so I had a firesale and got rid of all the old expensive dudes. and drafted Vlad Guerrero 2nd overall in the 1995 draft. haha my next pick was Jim Parque, cause he has a high peak.

I am ADDICTED to this game. someone save me .

I haven't bought a new game in quite a while. And I've realized about myself that I don't like games with linear storylines, they're neat and all but I don't have the time to care. I enjoy games where I just have a thing and I slowly build on it, and tinker with it, and sort of garden and manicure my little world.
So, that said, I've been messing around with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Simcity3000 and the Civilization 3. Like you jczerosan, I am excited about Civ4.

this is why Baseball Mogul has sucked me in. it's like the baseball version of Sim City or something.

That's cool, I know what you mean. I never owned Madden or anything but the team management stuff and trades and team building would be worth obsessing over.

Apart from that, I'm still playing GTA:SA.
DS2 is ok so far, I can see myself growing tired of it soonish though. graphically it looks pretty dated and it isn't the deepest when it comes to gameplay, but it's still fairly engaging. I'd recommend giving it a go at least

NCAA is more fun for this than Madden. On Madden, it gets pretty boring. With NCAA, you can start with a really shitty school (ex. Vanderbilt) and build them up into a National Championship contender. After you finally do that (I'm usually at least in the championship by the 3rd season), you can move onto another shitty school and try to do the same. It's pretty fun.

Now playing:

PS2 - God of war
Gamecube - Mario tennis
I'm on the verge of buying a PS2 (I've never owned one) just so I can play God Of War. I'm so sick of hearing how good this game is

Yeah i'd easily say it's the best action game on the PS2, and probably one of the best action games ever. Every aspect of the game is more or less perfect.

That sounds like fun. Maybe I'll check that out some time. Hmmm.
