The people above us have been pounding on their floors...like it honestly sounds like they're beating each other up or something...from 11pm till 2:30 the other night. I got the damn broom out TWICE the other night like an old lady banging on the ceiling.

Today I was listening to music while cleaning, at a reasonable volume...but sinc we live in a studio, there is no such thing as reasonable volume, apparently...and my neighbors were banging on the walls at SEVEN THIRTY.

The guy on the other side of our shoebox watches porn on full volume during the daytime.

I love it.

My old studio apartment, which I had for two unbelievably long years, was under a bongo shop. And the tenants next door would have sex in the fucking HALLWAY all the time. AL;AKJDL;KJASDFLKJASDLFJKASDLKJF.

I like my new building, I never hear a peep from any of the neighbours, it's really well insulated.

Well the second year I was taking a broadcast journalism class and I had to do all my recording at 4am to not contaminate my recordings, so that sucked.

I started writing an article about it for Maisonneuve magazine but never finished it. Should I? The bongo shop replaced a head shop about 6 months after I moved in.

Actually the dudes who run the store are really nice, I used to interview them for my community reporting assignments all the time. They still give me deals when I go in. The noise was fine when they were playing, cause they could carry a tune, but any idiot who touched their bongos would make you want to drill your eyes out with a spork.

My downstairs neighbors have complained a couple of times about music, but other than that I've heard nothing.

The ones that live across from me I see every so often and say hello, but have had small talk with the woman. They seem nice and the dude likes to laugh a lot when I'm trying to sleep.

The people below the neighbors next to me are alright. Some 19 year old girl or so I'm guessing, an older woman and some guys I rarely see. They like to leave the newspaper out all day sometimes.

This would make my neighbors pretty good. Nobody bothers me except for the ones below initially.
