new statue I just ordered
oh what a thing of beauty. Limited to only 500 pieces! I managed to nab one for around retail (US$195) plus discounted shipping. I've had cash sitting in my Paypal account for a few weeks just begging to be spent

That's pretty damn sweet but I wouldn't buy it because I have no strong feelings for Silver Surfer at all. If it was Spidey, that's a different story!
I recall many years ago there was one of Marv from Sin City.. now that I've seen the movie I bet that would be a cool sculpture to have. |

One problem with those damn things, the prototypes they advertise are usually larger scale than the final version, and even if they aren't, they have an awesome custom paint job that the retail versions never live up to.

I downloaded the Marv story, and he got electrocuted. I was sad. Then I read some kind of 1/2 issue and he was alive in it. I hope he's in other stories but I haven't read them cause I don't want to spoil the next movies. He was my favorite character.
