a) gays are prefered
b) they don't mind gays, so if I am straight it's OK, too

those adds are for separate rooms - there are no roommates.

Ugh, I'd stay away from those ads, but some rent seems to be really cheap - I am still suspicious it's so because you're supposed to offer/have gay sex, too.

if everything else about the ad looks good, i say just apply and see if you like the peeps who posted the ad. if you end up not liking them or the place, then it won't even matter.

it probably means, all other things being equal, we have a preference for a gay person. but all other things are rarely equal, so it might not even be a factor..

just see if it seems liek a good match, and then if necessary, you can address the question

yeah I just want to find a new place rather quickly, so I am just trying to find out if rhose gay+ offers are even worth looking into. That I wouldn't waste a time with those.

No, those are usually shared apartments, but you have your own room - that there's no one else in the room, but you can share the apartment with like 4-8 other people. Or it's just some family renting single room you know.
