Well then I guess you really don't want an easy way to dry your hair then, HUH!

Its really not that much money...I spend maybe $3/4 every month or so for leave-in conditioner? And I'm guessing you could get a cheap hair dryer for $10 or $20...one time expense.

Other than that, stick with the towel, cuz its not like there's some super secret way of drying hair that people with long hair don't tell the rest of the world. Its either air dry, towel dry, or blow dry.

You must have some gorgeous, healthy fuckin' hair. I applaud you.

I've ruined my hair since I was a teeny tiny little girl. I had my first hair cut when I was 7...so it was pretty long then (to my butt). I would get so mad at it and just rip through it with a brush cuz no matter what fun kid things I did, I'd come home with tangles galore.

Then for a long time, I made the big mistake of brushing my hair (sometimes even ripping through it) when it was wet...without putting anything in it.

And since I was 14 I dyed my hair, so by now its totally fried. The only way I can kinda tame it is like I mentioned, putting in lots of spray in conditioner and blowdrying it on high. Then if I still get frizzies on the top of my head, I slick them down with a little of my face cream. *shrug* It works. But god, I would give anything for healthy hair.

My hair is to the middle of my back, and I always blow dry... After I wash it I towel dry it, comb it, and put frizz ease serum stuff in it and then I part it down the middle like I was going to put it in pig tails, then dry one side, then the other.

Are 'Kyuss' a real band, or did you mean Kiss? If you did, I envy you. You know, the whole ignorance is bliss thing? You must be in complete and perfect bliss right now, eh?

I'm curious about this. What brand do you use? Where do you buy it? How do you like it? How does it leave your hair feeling? How doe your hair feel after 3 days with it in your hair?

I just squeeze out the excess water with a towel, gently comb it, and when it's not dripping wet, brush it. I haven't had long hair for very long and it's a constant adventure trying to figure it out. I'm used to having really short hair, this is the first time my hair has been longer then chin length in 8 years.

i use aura cacia brand, i buy it at a local hippie food co-op type place here. i like it just fine, i prefer coconut oil as i like the smell better but they were out of it the last time i went. you arent putting much in at all, maybe 2-3 drops TOPS and thats for my very long hair. just enough so that you rub it with your hands and your hands look a tiny bit shiny, like youd just put lotion on. its fine after three days, i only oil from about ear length hair and down.

Interesting. I think I might try it. (I too only wash my hair a couple of times a week). My ends are seeming a little dry lately (no split ends or anything, though). Normally, I just put a lot of shine serum on the ends, but there has to be something better and healthier for my hair.

i never go to bed with wet hair to save time, because i always have to wash it again in the morning because sleeping with wet hair allows it to dry in crazy ways. (you will NOT wake up with straight hair, i guarantee you)

Thumbs up

i towel dry it just so it's not dripping, and then if someone is around i feel like joking with i'll go and shake it at them like a wet dog.

blowdrying is way too much of a pain in the ass.

my hair is really long and thin.

i shower and wash my hair every day. i use cream conditioner, which sometimes eliminates the need for leave in conditioner or detangler. squeeze it a couple times with the towel, then i brush through it wet otherwise it will dry all matted up, and i've learned my hair works better when i comb through it wet. then i brush through it as i toss it over my head to dry. i dry it on high for about 7 minutes then it's dry. flip it over and spray down the crazies flyin around. if it's humid outside i put in some shine serum, and then go.

it's like 10 minutes on a really long day.

in highschool i would go to bed with it wet, and then wake up with this funky head wave on a weird part of my hair. the hairdryer makes my hair all pretty and fluffy. i luff it.
