Default Futuro houses

i wonder what one of these Futuro houses would cost me. it looks like 2-20K. i think i need one. think of all the places you could live in it. i wonder what it's like to be inside it.

That's pretty awesome. You could live in a tornado zone and move every so often

those are cool deadswan. i showed these futuro homes to my coworked and she showed me buckminster fuller's geodesic domes, which seem similarly affordable and pretty darn cool. over the last 5 years i have seen a lot of art that deals with cheap and mobile living and i think it's pretty neat that people are working on this. i hope i don't end up living in the damn suburbs in a house that looks like this:

i know all about archigram. we had an exhibition at the museum where i volunteer and i read up on it a lot and gave tours of the show. cool stuff. i've never read any of their newsletters, though, and that's something i'd like to do when i have time someday. their website is 100% less cool than the exhibition i saw. seeing their models and collages in person is a lot better.

i want to live in a plug-in city. or a walking city.

yeah, i really don't understand how people can stand to live in one of those places. i mean, if you're going to make the effort and spend the money, why not choose something, well, less awful? i don't get people.
