Exclamation ATTN: Roger Federer

Dude, if you beat Roddick tomorrow, you will be the third tennis player since 1936 who made a hattrick at Wimbledon. The other two are BjornBorg.org and Pete Sampras.

I hope it wouldn't end up like betting on Haas. Ace, that was totally unpredictable, he didn't even finish the game. I hope you know that.

Yeah, on the site where I bet, you don't lose if a player walks/retires. By the same token, you don't win if your opponent walks/retires.

It worked out well for me becuase Haas was down a set and a break when he retired.

I love tennis.

Probably ranks 4th for me behind baseball, soccer, and hockey. Tennis and football are equal as far my interest goes. And they're distinctly ahead of basketball and golf which would round out my favorite sports at 6 and 7 respectively.

In Wimbledon, I didn't bet much after the first round.

I took Davenport over both Clijsters (Clijsters was actually the favorite which I didn't understand) and Mauresmo.

And then I'm betting on Federer because the odds aren't too shitty on this site. This basically the first match where there is any point in betting on Federer from a $$ standpoint.

I'd have to take a closer look at usual performance of Davenport on grass, that's the only reason I can think of now.

Otherwise I hope Roger won't disappoint any of us. I really wish it to him - he's a good guy in heart and definitely deserves it.

Roger really does seem like a good guy. I like that he is very willing to do interviews even with the American media. He seems to understand his role as a tennis icon.

Roddick is just an idiot. I don't even feel the list bit unamerican for liking federer more than roddick. there is some site on the Net that his dumb quotes collected. He's an airhead.

I am not quite sure if Federer's figure will attract more kids to the game, probably not, but still he's kinda the guy I'd imagine as close to my ideal of a tennis player as you can get - you know, gentleman.

But yeah, definitely way better than Roddick or Hewitt - that dude is psycho.

yeah, i missed most of the match too...but i don't think Andy stood a chance Federer is just too damn good. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins next year too. Unless that kid Nadal is going to be the next Federer...heh.
