so, i'm on the train this morning. commuting to work. and the most gorgeous girl sits down opposite me. she was stunning! i really wanted to start chatting to her. we were both plugged into our ipods, though. it's not like i could've stepped on her foot, smiled, appologised, and started chatting. it would've had to've been a concious thing... like, hey you! unplug yourself, so i can talk to you, get your number and take you out for a meal.

needless to say i didn't do anything. i regret it.

yeah its really tough for me too. but youve got to keep practicing at it until you become comfortable, at least thats what they say. I dont know if i believe that works. I think some people like myself are doomed to be shy the rest of their lives. Which especially sucks if youre male. Women have it much much easier since the burden of making the first move doesnt fall on them. Fucking bitches always complaining about how bad theyve got it.

i think it's silly that you're getting hung up over the fact that you didn't talk to this girl only because she was pretty. maybe it's just my gut reaction to go sour grapes, but it seems kind of juvenile.

Take today for example. I was walking around campus and I noticed a lot of attractive girls paying attention to me. They think im cute, but it doesnt really matter because I'm too afraid to start a conversation with a complete stranger. I got this girl to go out with me a few weeks ago, and I'm the one who initiated in that instance, so youd think Id be more comfortable but thats not the case. Its really frustrating because i know i could get a lot of poon tang if i wasnt shy.
