sorry... When it comes to movies, as long as it's from the mid 80's onwards, I 'm knowledgable. Anything prior, I'm not. Who's in those films?

The Electric Horseman (1979) .... Norman 'Sonny' Steele
A Bridge Too Far (1977) .... Maj. Julian Cook
All the President's Men (1976) .... Bob Woodward
Three Days of the Condor (1975) .... Joseph Turner/The Condor
The Great Waldo Pepper (1975) .... Waldo Pepper
The Great Gatsby (1974) .... Jay Gatsby
The Sting (1973) .... Johnny Hooker aka Kelly
The Way We Were (1973) .... Hubbell
Jeremiah Johnson (1972) .... Jeremiah Johnson
The Candidate (1972) .... Bill McKay
The Hot Rock (1972) .... John Archibald Dortmunder
... aka How to Steal a Diamond in Four Uneasy Lessons (UK)
Little Fauss and Big Halsy (1970) .... Halsy Knox

I'm confident that it's one of those!!!

But judging by the nature of the ending, I'd say its either All the presidents men or the sting.

That is a great one but I haven't seen it in a while. Did they ever put out a widescreen version? The only version I can find is a crappy fullscreen.
