Lync / Love as Laughter

I don't know anything about these two groups, which apparently share the same frontman. Anything on them? Any advice on what to get first?

i know lync was from somewhere on the west coast, olympia maybe. they were around in the early 90s, toured with unwound, drive like jehu, etc. i remember listening to them a long time ago, but never got any of their records or liked them all that much. that said, i cant even remember what they sound like, although where they were from and the bands they played with are pretty good clues.
