Anyone here like 'em? I know at least one or two of you have to.

Annihilation of the Wicked is... not as good as Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka or In Their Darkened Shrines. Maybe I should stop looking forward to new releases so much, because I'm almost always going to be let down.

And after giving it a more careful listening (ie, not on my computer speakers), I can say that Annihilation of the Wicked is indeed a superb album. You just can't compare it to the others.

I know that no one cares, but I'm sharing this anyway.

yeah

i'm sort of done with this stuff though. I still listen to like one or two 'heavy' albums a year and I'll rock the album your name is taken from when I feel like it, but uh.

I miss my metal phase. I should be part of that scene!
