Default Arcade Fire show - 26-04-2005 Toronto - Danforth Music Hall

I just got back and I think it was such an amazing show. One of the best performances I've seen in a while. I'm kinda tired to post a full review tonight, but I'll come back to the thread tomorrow. I'm also wondering where I could find a bootleg of the show.

Final Fantasy was the opening act and he was really good. He played violin and sang, and had a drummer for a couple of the songs. I hope he plays the same cover on Thursday too, because I know you'll love it, Shaunna . At the end of his set he got a standing ovation.

Wolf Parade were pretty good too - another band from Montreal, quite talented.

Arcade Fire had 9 people on stage and they were so full of energy, even though they seemed tired after touring non stop for the past 6 months. They played a few covers too, of which Cars and Telephones was so touching. They played a new song too, stuff from the EP and y the album, and they had 2 encores. They sounded amazing and they connected so well with the audience. Everyone was dancing and singing and I loved loved loved the show.

If you get a chance to see them, at Lollapalooza or wherever, don't hesitate.

oh, awesome. I'd love to get that bootleg. Also, let me know if they played "Cars and Telephones" tonight. It's an amazing song. I downloaded a version of it from slsk, but it's crappy quality. Still... so beautiful.
