Arcade Fire show - 26-04-2005 Toronto - Danforth Music Hall

I just got back and I think it was such an amazing show. One of the best performances I've seen in a while. I'm kinda tired to post a full review tonight, but I'll come back to the thread tomorrow. I'm also wondering where I could find a bootleg of the show.

Final Fantasy was the opening act and he was really good. He played violin and sang, and had a drummer for a couple of the songs. I hope he plays the same cover on Thursday too, because I know you'll love it, Shaunna

. At the end of his set he got a standing ovation.

Wolf Parade were pretty good too - another band from Montreal, quite talented.

Arcade Fire had 9 people on stage and they were so full of energy, even though they seemed tired after touring non stop for the past 6 months. They played a few covers too, of which Cars and Telephones was so touching. They played a new song too, stuff from the EP and y the album, and they had 2 encores. They sounded amazing and they connected so well with the audience. Everyone was dancing and singing and I loved loved loved the show.

If you get a chance to see them, at Lollapalooza or wherever, don't hesitate.

lately i listen to the songs neighborhood #2 and #3 whenever i have a spare minute. but i only just got into them a few weeks ago - of course, after the tour has already passed.

oh, awesome. I'd love to get that bootleg. Also, let me know if they played "Cars and Telephones" tonight. It's an amazing song. I downloaded a version of it from slsk, but it's crappy quality. Still... so beautiful.
