The Shield appreciation

Man, I've seen seasons 1-near the end of 3 before, but spaced out over a few years. I just bought Season 1 and downloaded 2 & 3. This show is so phenomenal. Just finished the season 1 finale. Then I'm gonna watch 2-3 and start on 4. Anyone else watch this show?

About the Jack Bauer vs Vic Mackey poll, if you watch this show you've got to admit it's no contest. Vic would tear his butt limb from limb. OH YEAAAAH!

But I don't mean to turn this thead into a debate, just saying The Shield is so awesome.

I like how they don't set up good characters and bad characters, they just stick these realistic people in real situations (mostly) and they deal with them. It's up to you to decide whether they're crossing the line. A rare thing in TV. Very awesome. I hate to talk behind Andy Sipowicz's back but Vic Mackey is such a badass.

I haven't seen the first few eps of Season 4 yet, they're downloaded though and I hope to get to them this week. it's an excellent series. just to show how fucking stupid the tv networks down here are this show was axed about 7 episodes into season 1.

they also just recently took West Wing off the air here and we haven't seen any Smallville since mid seasom 2. thank christ for the intarnet

I've seen season 4 1&2 dvd screeners on torrentspy but i'm waiting for broadcast versions. Haven't checked in a few days. I think i'll wait on 4 til I rewatch season 2+3 in the next week or 3.

Oh yeah. When they air it here in Canada they don't play it til like the week before the current season starts on FX. So we get it around the time of the DVD release. Blah! But commercials really mess up the flow of the show I find, after watching the DVDs.
