http://www.dsrevolution.com/article....9030782602449d Check out Nintendo Powers's latest issue for proof. Nintendo goes online: Just before we went to press, Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata announced the first details reguarding the company's plans to take the DS online. Nintendo will partner with GameSpy to create a wirless multiplayer network that promises will be simple toset up and provide a seamless experience for users. The service is designed for play around the world, and you will be free of charge (though you will need access to a wireless hotspot). According to Iwata, developers are currently working on short-range wireless games be able to easily expand many of their projects to ******* wireless Internet play.Gamespy will deliver software development kids to qualified developers sometime before E3. One of the first online-enabled game will be Animal Crossing. Gone are the days of carting your Memory Card to a friend's house--the DS will let you visit other villages across the globe wirlessly. http://zeo.poned.com/nponline.jpg This is great and especially good because games that are currently in development right now will most likely make the jump to online! Nintendo DS Features to Expect "credit goes to Thom from the DSGB" Now that we know Gamespy is the key partner in the online plan thanks to the Nintendo Power scans, we can now surmise some of the likely features Nintendo Online will involve on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Revolution.
