Flash Question for you all

I want to send an animation I made to a friend via instant messenger. He doesn't have flash so how do I get it so that he can watch? I remember receiving an animation the same way at another time and it automaticly played in the flashplayer instead of the actual program...any ideas?

play the flash animation in Flash. (ctrl + enter)

Then go to where your .fla,(flash file), is saved and there should be a .swf there. Send that to your friend and he should be able to watch it..
