Red face I ordered this Gameboy Advance flash cartridge...

to play downloaded roms on my GBA. And it hasn't come after 4 weeks and I just found out the guy who owned the paypal account for the online store died and nobody got their stuff. I'm annoyed.

This might explain why they quit responding to my email.

How do you know the guy passed away?
Will you be getting your money back, or at least the flashcard?

Sounds like both seller and buyer got what they deserved for ripping off Nintendo.

Nintendo wouldn't exist without me buying their last 7 systems and games and link cables and all that crap. They owe me.

I went to the official website of the flash cart and this guy said the same thing happened to him and told the story of the guy dying. He said he's been in contact with someone but he was uncertain whether they actually sent out the thing or not. He said there was some mixup and he had to re-order.

Craaaaazy.

A guy from the company has gotten in contact with me, looks like I will get my cart or a refund. Not sure yet.

I finally got a cart yesterday, sent from the manufacturer. It's working perfectly so far, and is pretty awesome. The company I ordered from gets to keep my money which pisses me off, but I got the product anyway and didn't have to pay duty since it was mailed from a Canadian dealer. So whoopee. Does anyone else have one of these?

Awesome, I really want one and I hope they sometime over the next year make something for the DS.
How much did you pay for it again?
And what games have you put on it so far?

I paid some amount in US but technically got mine for free cause the shitty company never sent it to me. It was like $130 or more.

I've played Zelda 3, Super Puzzle Fighter, Mario Pinball, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Klonoa 2, Mario 2, Mario 1, Yoshi's Island,

they all work fine. There might be a save problem with Mario Pinball, I read the game might have problems, and I lost a save. Argh.

But if this thing keeps up then I'll be pretty satisfied. You can make your own background image for the menu screen. Mine is super hot. :9

Sweet.. I'd really want one but.. I already own like 20 GBA games, and there is only a select few I would want for the flash card. Like the Metroid Zero mission, and Zelda Minish Cap.

Anyways, it's a nice bit of money for now, so I'm gunna hold off until I can find a cheap deal down the road.

Yeah in the time since I ordered the damn thing I have purchased most of the games I'd have wanted. Oh well...

You HAVE to buy Minish Cap, it's one of the best games I've played in forever. I spent so many hours on it. I still have to complete one final thing.

The store that shipped the cart to me is www.kicktrading.ca and they have the 512mb cart (the one I have) for $114.95 US. The 256mb one is $69.95.

It works in the DS but only for GBA games obviously. You can do crap like run original gameboy or nes games on it too but I haven't done that.
