Default daily birth control question!

There's always gotta be at least one, right?

Does skipping the pills at the end make your back hurt?

No, skipping the placebo pills shouldn't make your back hurt.

Red face

I always skip the sugar pills, if that's what you're talking about. I never notice. Then again, I have gotten used to the dull aching pain in my back.

I have a question too.

Last month, on the last day of a pack of pills, I forgot to take it. So the next day I took it and opened the next pack and took the first one, as well, because I was told you can take two if over eight hours have gone by since you were supposed to take it.

It seemed like a whack idea but I did it anyway.

So since there are seven sugar pills, I started otaking the actual BCs on the sixth day of the sugar pill to make up for the fact that I took the first one before I should have. Does that even make sense?

I don't care as long as they work how they are supposed to.

I don't understand birth control man.

er your back probably hurts because you are about to get your period - this happens to some people - also the time when you don't take sugar pills.

So, you missed taking a sugar pill? Or missed taking an active pill?

If you miss a sugar pill, just throw it away. You don't have to take the suagr pills at all. You can just go 7 days without taking anything. The only point to the sugar pills is so you remain in the routine of taking a pill everyday.

If you miss an active pill, take it as soo as you remember. If it has been 24 hours (so you completely missed taking an active pill that day), go back ot your regular schedule...on the next day at your usual time, take the pill you missed and the pill for that day.

I missed the last active pill from the pack and opened a new one to take two to make sure I was safe. So I probably screwed up the next month's pack. But I just started taking them a day early. I don't know, I'm sure it is fine.
