You have to register for it, though. Also Why are XVID VIDEOS SO GODDAMN DARK ALL THE TIME!!!

I changed the settings in classic media player, and it looked beautiful. When I tried to play it again, the stupid settings reverted back to the original ones, and changing the settings didn't help one bit.

Dude if you get this Philips DVD player from Wal Mart you can watch Xvid or Divx on it, and some of the HDTV sources of TV shows look spectacular, like DVD quality. It was only $90 CAD and can be de-regionized with the push of 5 buttons. I love it.

I had to review some movie this weekend, that was the only movie that was playing the Star Wars trailer. totally worth it, and the flick was a mildly interesting diverson (great production design & concept, cliche storytelling) And they've dropped the price @ Silvercity recently, so that's a bonus.

BTW...Dead..that DVD player is great. It outputs to PAL so some I can watch this movie a friend got me in Australia finally. I was surprised that the 7-8-9 trick worked, but it did.

Yeah it totally rocks. I played a PAL DVD and it looked normal. Also played divx, xvid, and soon I'll have some Region 3 discs. I read that if you cut power to the player, like unplug it, it will reset back to region 1 so remember the code.
