Red face The joys of divorce, AKA Mother and Father disputes

I returned home from work to a wonderfully stereotypical story of divorced couples. My step-father, birth-father to my siblings, dropped off my siblings this evening to my mother's house, thus starting their week of stay with her. For the past several weeks, he has been adamant about receiving funds from her to compensate him for the money that he has spent on sporting accessories for the two young ones. These requests finally came to a head today. What now follows is what my mother has told me happened. Inserted will be notes that show pertinant information. here goes (keep in mind this is an interpretation, not exact words):

Father(grabbing a batbag)- Have you paid for anything in this bag?
Mother(befuddled)- Excuse me?
Father- Have you paid for anything in this batbag?
Mother- No, i have not.
Father- Then i am taking it with me.
Mother- You can do what you like, but that is her bag, and she will need it for her practice, so you are only hurting her. *the her is my sister*
Father(Lays bag down forcefully)- Fine. Are you going to pay me?
Mother- We have had this conversation before; I am not paying you anyting.
Father- You think that you would have learned after having your truck broken into and having your purse taken. *About seven or eight months ago, my mother's truck was broken into and her purse stolen. The suspect remains at large.*
Mother- Wait, are you admitting that you broke into my truck?
Father- All i am saying is that, one way or another, i will get the money.
Mother- I will not have you stand here and threaten me, you need to leave my house.
Father- I am not in your house, i am on the sidewalk.

__Exuent__

Now, i can understand his claim to monies regarding sporting activities, but on my mother's behalf, he has not paid at all for any of the musical intruments that my brother or sister own. So i tend to think that any validation he would have for monetary compensation is thus null and void. They (mother and father) have made purchases that they believe to be in the best interest of the children, at least as far as their happiness and goals are concerned. niether one of them is responsible for the financial responsibilities that the other takes on as a result of the decisions that they make. Gifted playthings should be seperate in my eyes.

Now my family wants me to stay up all night to "protect t****.

Cut to scene of my mom throwing glasses and screaming obscenities from the 3rd story balcony at my dad/us on the sidewalk below while my dad quickly tries to load his car up with his power tools so my mom won't sell it for crystal meth money. Shortly after we leave, my mom is arrested for violation of the TRO my dad got on her. I don't see her for three months.

However, both situations have comedic potential, in the right light.
Yeah, i am not trying to make this more than it is. Nothing bad, just the potential that he broke into her car, at a little league baseball game no less!, was funny.

and he could totally take her.

The reason i thought it was funny because the "head" question popped up, and then, without quoting Nimrod, you said that "if you had of been there, you totally would" which i originally thought meant that you would have given me head. It was funny also cause arent you like married or something?

anyway, thats why i got the funny from it.
