We refer to the stupidly arrogant and unintelligent football players as "meatheads." And maybe we're just substituting meathead for jock. But for the most part, those kids aren't very coordinated or talented, which I think is pretty vital for a jock.

yeah there weren't many jocks at my school, they're more what you'd call meatheads. there actually wasn't much in the way of cliques at my high school, all the groups were pretty mobile. I think it's cause we had an inordinantly high degree of "cool" kids doing stuff like band, which is traditionally seen as a ... dorky activity.

anyhow... stuff.
