im going to boston this weekend to visit some friends who go to BU and northeastern and some of the other schools there. we will probably go to the museum of fine arts, but can anyone recommend any other cool museums or activities in general?

Pretty much every response in this thread has sucked. Amy, the aquarium? It's OK, but nothing great.

Go to Fenway, play in the Commons, take a Duck Tour, eat at the Union Oyster House, walk through the shops on Newberry street, take the self-guided Freedom Trial (the infamous red line), eat Italian close to the North Shore, go to the Public Library and the Christian Science Church.

What else do you want?

When I go to Fenway with my girlfriend in August I am definitely picking up our favorite shirt (if I can find it): "Posada is a Little Bitch". it's just so simple and stupid that it's funny. I'm not really all RAH RAH I HATE YANKEE! but I just think some of the slogans and shirts and stuff are hilarious.

I really really suggest going to Brown Sugar Cafe for some delicious Thai before or after visiting the Museum of Fine Arts. It's a few blocks away and has excellent food.
