macs are ok, i mean.. but they reliability is what gets me. you can't multitask worth shit.

You can use any mouse, as said before. I use a microsoft one, it comes with a program so you can assign different actions to each button.

As for the multitaskking, I personally don't have any problems with that, I browse the internet while burning a DVD with iTunes playing in the background with Photoshop and Illustrator open.
I don't have a shitload of RAM memory. Maybe it's because I have a dual processor.

My brother has the same problem as you have, the only time my computer completely crashed, was when he tried to print something, which resulted in a kernel panic. The worst kind of crash you can get if you mac with OSX.

i'm pretty sure i've heard it tons faster, processor wise. (ie is slower for me)

it'll save you trouble with all the crap netphoria downloads for you. it's safer.

Yeah firefox doesn't work properly with some sites and sometimes I have a real pain in the ass getting plugins installed. I switch to IE rarely when I have to.

Are you kidding me!? I have a mac and at any given point I can have Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Protools and Final Cut Pro open without a single problem. I'd love to see a PC that has that kind of multitasking power straight out of the box.
