What happens when you don't accept a message from someone on AIM?

'cause just as the box popped up, my computer froze (THERE'S A SHOCKER!!), and I don't want whoever this was to think I don't wanna talk to them or something...because it was probably someone I know. Meh. So yeah, does it go to the person who sent the message "HAHA, THEY DIDN'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU, LOSER!" or what?

I think a message comes up to them that says "This user is not available." Kinda like if they messaged you while you were offline...but they can still view your profile and stuff.

the fact that it asks you if you want to recieve the message if the user isn't on your buddy list is my favourite thing about AIM.

Nah, it doesn't do anything. It just looks like you didn't repond.

Yeah, and I think if they try to message you again it says the "This user is not available" thing.

Nope, their IM window just doesn't show up.

I was talking to my dad yesterday on a new s/n, and he hit 'no', and I tried again and got no special messages.
