Question is this a big deal?

A friend tells you not to get your paws on another friend of hers on account of this girls recent break up and emotional state.

Then you ignore her and get your paws on her.

Friend goes crazy.

Does that fact that it was News Years Eve and that everyone was using everybody and no one has any regrets excuse it?

A cool cat would never play that way.

How about you tell your friend to mind her own damn business and let her friend decide what she wants to do. And if that’s hooking up with you, for whatever reason, like getting over her ex, then it’s her problem.
