personally i think the newer simpsons episodes (2001 and newer) are nothing compared to 1995-1999.

I actually didn't get Season 4 or 5 yet. :erm
I really want to, but not sure if I should go out and buy them right away. I really loved Season 5, so i would like to watch them all, and actually try and get into the commentary.

I haven't bought them yet, they're a lot more expensive right now then the other seasons. I'll get it eventually. I'm nursing my credit card in post-holiday gloom.

I still haven't bought season four. I see them so much in reruns, the first few seasons I bought and watched a few times but now they just sit there.

i did. i have a lot on my plate, entertainment-wise, so i haven't really been able to get into it yet. i watched the first episode (homer's barbershop quartet) today. it's probably going to take me weeks to clear enough time to really enjoy the set. it doesn't matter though, i can already tell it's up to the standard that they have been setting with the sets so far.

i was fuming when i first got it because the box was all one piece, ie. NOT the one with the the window. but when i opened it up i found out it was just a cardboard slip that they put on instead of gluing an info sheet on the back. needless to say i was beyond relieved. seriously, i would have lost it if they had changed the packaging at this point.
