I don't really get crushes, I'm just not interested in guys right now. They might as well be a cute baby or pet, they're nice to look at but I just smile and walk on by.

I don't think so. In fact, I think quite the opposite. But then again, I think my life is more exciting now than it ever has been. But then again, that's because of what you said about something you like being tangible enough to daydream about, except its not a person.

My life is in a position now where everything I want is within reach. And let me tell you, it is QUITE exciting.

And all I do is sit at home!

You know what sucks about crushes?

When they start off as innocent little things that you joke about with friends, and then you meet the person and gradually get closer and closer to them and then you become completely infatuated with them and it doesn't go anywhere, but you still think about them all the time. and since you're close friends you feel like its within reach, but in reality, it will never work out.

i think crushes are very different from obsessions and infatuations.

i'm just talking about like 'omg he just touched my hand! he brushed up against me! oh that's so hot' silly things like that. they're meaningless, but their inflated value overshadows a crappy day.
