Red face Signs Your Getting Older

t-shirts with logos that have atari symbol on them or thundercats. i owned an atari when it was brand new and watched the thundercats on tv everyday. now they're on t-shirts cause they're 'retro'.

and walking through a toy store seeing a gi joe you bought when it first came out is out again but is now the 20 year collectors edition. :erm

I know, it is when I tell this joke I heard and all younger people say 'who'?

Q - what is the name of Martina Navratilova's(spelt right now) new autobiography?

A - 'How I Licked All Them Cunts At Wimbledon'

I can only just remember the first AIDS ads that used to be on tv, they had ones down here where a grim reaper was bowling and hitting people(pins) with balls of 'AIDS death' or something, I must have only been about four or five

For some of the younger people on the board, erectile function is a sign of aging.

This whole Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, Glowworm, Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, original Transformers, Atari, ALF bullshit pisses me off to an extent, but it just helps me realize how fucking cool our generation is. The younger kids aren't reppin their stuff because it sucks and they know all our shows and games and shit rules, even now.

Its kinda like how all the Chicago radio stations now have that hour where they play all 90s music, for instant, "94.7's the 90s at 9" and "Nikki's 90s nooner", even DJ smurf on B96 is spinning old early 90s booty mixes....music sucks so hard these days that people are trying to get away from it by having these shows to remind us that there is hope for music. If not, we can all just turn on Nikki's 90s Nooner and remember back when music was good.

fucking kids...

(p.s...2400 posts! woo!)

You know you are getting old when you thank your parents (sincerely) for buying you underwear and socks.

And apparently Poppels are back.

Popples!!! dude i loved those things. i had a tiny little blue one with plastic arms and legs. now that i think about it they were kind of creepy hmmm.

I would probably feel old except all my friends are about a year older than me, so I'm always the baby of the group. yeah.

I remember every single one of those things. And Popples...this thread is making me feel old, and I'm not quite twenty yet.

Gray hair is starting to concern me . . . I've got one gray eyebrow hair and one in my beard, and I know there are a couple lurking on my head. Christ, I'm 21 -- how stressed out do you have to be to go gray at 21? I didn't think I had it quite that bad.

Also, any of you fogeys try to play sports lately? I played snow football with some friends about a month ago, and I thought I was gonna die every time I caught a pass or made a run. Honestly, I used to be able to run a half mile in two minutes and 5 seconds, and five kilometers in a little over 16 minutes. What's the deal?

Plus, the other day I was in a car with my little cousins as well as my older sister, and I said something, and my sister was like "Pardon me?" and I was like "yeah, do you have any Grey Poupon?" And we both cracked up, and my cousins didn't get it at all. I tried to explain it to them, and realized that they weren't born in 1990, when those commercials were on the air. Sheesh.
