i watched the blue velvet dvd for the first time, and i didnt really "get" it. i liked mulholland drive a lot though.

I rented the Fellowship of the Rings. The stuff on how they did the special effects is really cool. The forced perspective techniques are amazing.

yeah there is a fair bit of stuff, some deleted scenes, a few cast and crew interviews, footage of the film being made, and there is a short doco also I think which I haven't watched

how is solaris?

i don't wanna rent it 'cause i'm scared it'll be just like 2001 plus outer space scares the fuck outta me i'm interested in seeing the new version too i don't know why considering i've never even seen the old one.
