Thumbs down My mother scheduled a hair appointment for me WITHOUT FUCKING ASKING ME.

How inconsiderate.

And the woman that cuts my hair never ever fails to fuck it up.

Uggggh.

Erm, I would....IF I WANTED TO GET MY HAIR CUT.

That's the whole point. I don't want to get my hair cut.

Well I'd like to, but my parents would still just make me go.

But the woman who cuts my hair knows my parents pretty well. I'm sure she knows that I do not want my hair cut. So if I called her and was all 'I'm not going to come in tomorrow' she'd think something was up...and just yeah, it's just not that easy. heh

Actually, it is that easy. How old are you? You need to stand up for yourself, holy shit.

Yeah, my dad rescheduled a dentist appointment for me today despite the fact that I'm sick. Can't cancel because he'll have to pay and I don't feel like getting into a stupid argument over that.

Punch him in the face so HE has to go to the dentists and have your appointment.

go to the hair appointment since your mom is gonna make you go anyway, and insist that you only want a trim. it'll grow back in no time.

No, it really isn't.

I don't know what your parents were like when you were 15...but I assure you that it in my situation, it simply would not work.

Yes, that's the plan right now.

Hopefully it will be such a small change that people won't even notice.

What are they going to do to you to make you go? Huh? Are you just one of those people who avoids confrontation? You'll get pushed around a lot, then.

Well, I suppose my father wouldn't go so far as to beat me and drag me in there....but there would be an arguement...and while that's not what bothers me, it's not a good idea. Without my parents, it would be impossible for me to go anywhere or do anything. Pissing them off is just not the way to go.

a family friend of ours kicked their son out of the house until he got his hair cut. he called CPS and when they came over and found out they kicked him out into the backyard where there was a guest house with water and electricity, they made the son go to some sort of therapy or something, hahaha. So ummm at least you don't have to go to therapy.

My mom was always good about letting me get my hair cut whenever l wanted to, which was never. Man my haircut stylist always gives me crap about how lazy l am with my hair.

I see. Well, see my mother never did that for me anyway, even if I was nice, so I wouldn't know your situation. There's always the bus. But a stupid argument over a haircut isn't worth that.
