I'm a big fan of his books and I thought that book looked really, really bad. Airframe was pretty bad too. He's gone downhill the past couple of years

hard times by charles dickens

it's probably not one of his greater novels eh? it's still quite.. id on't know. it's dickens i can't explain. it's majestic just by being dickens and not in like a transcendent way i just. i can't explain. not even in a 'wow' way it's just...sort of like swimming or going to the ocean i can't explain. it's silly. his plot twists. i am assuming that old woman is mr bounderby's mom. yyyep. as for the bank robbery, did not see it coming but i cannot wait to see how it turns out. it's apparently one of his really dark novels so i am worried i don't awnt poor tom blackpool or whatever his name is to go to jail

Yeah, Jurassic Park was great. So much fun. Prey was just painful it was so bad. The only sort of cool part is the nonfiction introduction where he talks a bit about where our technology is.

I still haven't finished Atonement.

I am also working on a coffee table book about the history of the Oscars and We Were the Mulvaneys by Joyce Carol Oates.

I like "Disclosure" and most of his sci-fi books, but "Rising Sun" was incredibly offensive to me.

well, at least he has some decent source material here.

yeah, but he's also responsible for "Ladyhawk" and the "Nightmare at 20,000 ft." Twilight Zone episode.

Canadian authors are highly over-rated. I read this book in Can Lit last year and it was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD AWFUL. Nothing - absolutely nothing - exciting happens in this book. Just thank the maker that you aren't reading Sinclair Ross...

Currently I'm reading "Game of Thrones" by George R. R. Martin. It's very very good.
