Ugh, he's on my buddy list! and if he signs on that means he'll see me sign off and that's a sure sign that I'm avoiding him.

I just don't wanna be his friend, he's my drug dealer not some buddy I want around all the time.

there's an option of msn to keep people from knowing whether you've blocked them but i don't know if it's on by default - if it's not, this should usually work.
