I'm in the same boat as you. My dog also has cancer and its pretty much inoperable. She's had it for a year now but only lately have the effects been visible. She'll go a few days where she won't eat anything, she won't even get up to greet us, and she's in pain. And then it passes and she's normal for a few more weeks. When the pain becomes permanent though thats when we'll put her to sleep.

well he's gone, took him down to the vet about an hour ago. I patted him and told him to say hi for me to Chester and Wellington (two dogs we had about 10 years ago) and that was that.

I'm really sorry. I had a puppy once that died in my garage. It was the first dog that ever died on me. I can still remember when my dad picked up his head and it just dropped.

ive only heard my animals pass gas in my presence once or twice in my life. i think its disgusting and i think they pick that up


i like my dogs' natural smell, though. in a friendly way.
