heard about this upcoming simpsons episode?

here's the rundown from tvtome.com, it's not airing for a few months.

In case you didn't notice, Patty had always indeed leaned towards homosexuality at times. In this episode, Patty falls for a local female golf pro. Springfield legalizes gay marriage, and Homer becomes a minister by registering online. This may spell an outing for the love-stricken Patty. However, be on the lookout for a possible twist ending.

Yah, the Patty storyline was on SNPP wayyyyyyyyyy even before the news broke over the summer. the news outlets kinda covered it (I saw it on CNN Headline News on a slow day) but they all said "Fans are speculating that it may be Smithers, Mr. Burns' longtime assistant!" even though Matt said in the quote "Its not who you think it is."

She's not gonna get married and stay that way. Either A) she won't go through with it B) the marriage will be over by the end of the episode.

It'll probably air in Feb sweeps, I'm thinkin'.

they've been promoting the "someone in springfield is gay" storyline since summer. i assumerd it was gonna be barney. i also heard that homer was gonna help patty adopt or something.

Yeah, not Smithers or Patty. They never make jokes about how queer they are.

My friends refuse to accept that Lenny and Carl are gay. Even with "Mt. Carlmore", which really made them burst out of the closet, if you ask me.
