It's because I suck at them.

I rented Halo...and I'm just struggling so much, it's really not even funny.

It took me about 8 minutes just to do the fucking training exercise stuff. "FLASHING LIGHTS?? WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE FLASHING LIGHTS???"

Now I can't find my way out of the goddamn ship. I think that's what I'm supposed to be doing. AHHHH

I don't play video games because music is cheaper and requires less though. I wasn't able to download games til now, and now I don't care.

i can't play video games to save my life.

we play them all day in second period, my friends get high scores of like 1850, my high score is around 30.

girls and video games are an interesting point.

i noticed from one of those recent surveys here, that regarding games most of the girls responded with something like " :erm i don't play games"
like somehow it's a medium that's below them.

i think most of this can be attributed to the fact that games design and marketing isn't really targeted towards females.
but they do offer diverse range of challenge and entertainment and girls should probably give them more of a chance.

or maybe girls just don't possess the necessary hand-eye co-ordination.
(except the girl that kept beating me at soul edge..)

Or maybe blasting a terrorists head off with an AK 47 doesn't appeal to girls. Look at the Sims though, a video game rarity where more women play that game than men.

Meh, depends what it is. These girls I lived with at college loved Bust a Groove, and Crazy Taxi - probably because they were just fun, uncomplicated games. Oh, they had an N64 before we moved into the same house - while I was working out the control pad Sonali was running around backwards in Goldeneye, rocket launchering me into oblivion. That said, you'd think that girls who spend time on ver phoria would be more likely to play games than not
