i'm thinking about getting one with the $100 i get from my dad for birthday and christmas. is a $100 one going to break immediately or are they reliable enough, just without any special features? bestbuy.com has a kodak for that price, so at least i've heard of it.

anyway digitals don't use your floppy drive, you use a special thingamajig connector to upload pics

whoa i think there was ever only one digital camera that used floppies, and that was a sony mavica about six years ago. now you just made me remember getting free floppies from sony (who wanted to promote this camera) at a computer fair i went to six years ago.

my first digicam was a Poleroid...over 5 years ago, jeez. it lasted foreva, though, until it was stolen
why not just get a cell phone that takes pictures? it's almost just as cheap now.

I've got a kodac ... cx... something. I'm at work so I don't have the model number off the top of my head. I'll post it when I get home. It's a 2megapixil digi camera and it's great. I paid $250 for it about two years ago... the same model is going for cheap on ebay now.
