TV briefs: Ferguson chosen to replace Kilborn

NEW YORK — Celebrity Jeopardy stalwart Turd Ferguson, who played Alex Trebek for a fool, will be the new host of CBS' "Late Late Late Late Late Late Late (Did We Mention It's Late? It's SO Late, It's Morning) Show" beginning Jan. 3.

He replaces Craig Kilborn, who announced in August he was leaving the 12:30 a.m. talk show nobody watches.

Ferguson passed through the spanking machine and was one of four finalists, with legendary actor Sean Connery, Fabio, and a duck.

Ferguson hasn't written, starred, or even watched the films that start with Jaws.

Ferguson commented on his selection, "Ha-ha! Hey, I found this backstage, an over-sized hat. It's funny."
