At school Afrikaans was a mandatory second language.
Then when things started changing here you just needed a second South African language, but since most of us whiteys had been taught Afrikaans from grade 1, it kinda stuck.


These days they teach more traditional languages instead.

In grade 6 they started teaching me Zulu too.
But that was a third language.

I went to an Orphanage yesterday for work, to take pictures, cause we made some big donation thing.

And there, they have girls from all over the rest of the world who volunteer for 3 / 6 month stays there.
That’s pretty cool, I think.

Some of them were pretty hot. I think they’re lonely way out there at the Orphanage, cause they all came and sat around holding babies while I was there. When I got there, there 2 two, when I left there were 7.
