So I was in Chicago yesterday, and we stayed at this hotel. In the lobby, there was this very colorful and elaborate sculpture-type thing made of sugar. Next to it was a sign that said Do not touch - Very fragile!

This one group of people took turns breaking pieces off and eating them. One guy commented, "This ain't no jolly rancher! Heh heh."

Now seriously...what the hell?

IMO, eating an expensive sugar sculpture isn't dumb. they were obviously smart enough to catch on to the fact that it was probably their one opportunity in life to eat art.
it reminds me of the simpsons episode w/ the gummy venus di milo
