I read on AICN that the most Cameron had to do with the project was look at the script and say "sure, that sounds cool." but I heard he lobbied for Mostow to take the job. but that's just the offical spin, I think.
My big problem with the flick so far is just the whole "two terminators sent back to kill John" thing. I remember reading way, way, WAY back on Corona that a deal was struck for TWO Terminator sequels - one to be leading up to Judgement Day and a 4th one called "Rise of the Machines" but I get the feeling they scrapped that idea. Personally, I always thought doing a movie about John & the Future War would be cool. . .

i see arnie has mantained his cool robotic voice for this movie.
no wait a minute, that's just his austrian accent.

i don't see what's so advanced about the new terminator though.
the t1000 was far superior.

speaking of time-travel, this post just came back from 4 months in the past.

that trailer actually made me a little worried, it wasn't as badass as it was hoping it would be. the TX chick was hot, though.

Yea the trailer was a bit dissapointing for me.

I have a bad feeling this movie is going to suck, the new John Connor looks and acts like a goof and his girlfriend doesn't look any brighter.

Do we get to see the new lady terminator naked when she gets beamed back in time?

There's rumours that this might be a PG-13, therefore no nudity. Personally I doubt those are true but if you think about it, the nudity in the other Terminator flicks weren't handled exploitively - I think some silouette shots of the naked T-X chick would probably be all we'll get.

Just saw the trailer again last night when I went to go see LOTR again. I dug it a bit more this time. The shot of the T-X jumping ontop of the car is just way cool and there's a great goose-pimple moment when the narrator goes "She's come back in time for one purpose . . .TO KILL US ALL!!" hahaha, I LOVE it.

my friend brought this point up: "She'll be back" would be a funny line in the context of the flick but they shouldn't have put it in the trailer cuz it makes them seem like they're trying to hard. So when you get the line in the movie, it robs it of any sort of punch it may have had in the first place.

* T3 is officially Rated R. The decision was made months ago.

* Paraphrasing Mostow himself: "In tradition with the first and second Terminator movies, the TX will arrive naked."
