You've got the cheddar, right?

Unless you have access to her account, it's unlikely that you'll be able to add it. Personally, I'd check Sprint's site first. See what phone you'd like to get her. It's likely that you'll be dropping two bills on a fairly nice one. Order it, and then give it to her. Have her activate it on her account.

i was actually looking for advice since you're one of the phone guys on this board

which do you recommend? i was perusing today but i have no clue what to get b/c i have cingular (as do all of my friends)

i won't be getting any deals just by buying a phone right?

I think for 129$ the Samsung SCH-A460 looks pretty nice.

You may want to call Sprint, and talk with a customer service rep. I've found quite a few that are more than willing to be accommodating. If you explain your situation to them, they might be willing to cut the price down, or work on rebates for you.

I have sprint too. Mine is a Samsung SCH 8500, it's kinda old. I want a new phone, one with color and cool ring tones and stuff! But Sprint phones are so damn expensive.
