i've been so much pain and suffering lately it's starting to get funny, only it's not.

today i'll get my fourth infusion with the antidepressant anafranil.
my veins gets inflammated because of the high concentration of medicine. i can feel this burning sensation all the way down my left arm and down on my back (it follows the vein). i lie in the hospital bed and squirm like a worm on a hook, it takes about 5 hours every day.

someone care to share some stories of pain?

I feel a lot of pain when my legs or feet are asleep, which seems to be happening more often because I sit in weird positions and am too lazy to move out of them. Although, I am developing a bad bad bad habit in which I actually wait for my leg or foot to fall asleep and it becomes my cue to shift positions. I hope i explained that correclty.

I hit my knee on a table 2 weeks ago and now every time I sleep on a couch it fucking kills.

that's a always a nasty experience! have you ever slept on your arm? i have to move around the arm (with my other arm i've slept on in order to get any blood into it again and squeeze the fingers. it's like having a limb fall asleep only ten times worse.

ahaha i remember doing that. somehow i fell asleep with my right arm on my back (!???????!!!!!!!!!) and when i woke up my arm just swung around and hit my i was like WTF and i couldn't feel it AT ALL for a few seconds i was pretty scared.

A guy I work with cut his pinky finger off with a skil-saw, and another guy got set on fire and all of his clothes got burned to his skin pretty interesting week. I dunno the most pain I've been in lately comes from hitting my fingers with a hammer when I miss a nail but I've become so used to it it hardly hurts anymore

i used to put out matches with my bare fingers for fun. ive been whipped by a perverted turk. there have been rumours that i paid men to whip me later in my life.

however, no physical pain has ever come close to the devestating pain of losing one young arab boy to sinking sand and another flower of arab youth to a bomb detonator accident

i read that pain is one of the hardest things for us to rememeber. our brains forget it on purpose. i can dig out the quotes if anyone cares.

when i was in emotional pain i got some awful muscle pain, but i've been lucky enough to not have a lot of pain in my life.

the worst was a few years ago when i did something dumb and broke my leg and tore my ACL and couldn't walk unassisted for probably 2 months total and had a big surgery. that bit, but it really is a fuzzy dot on my memory.
