NES Punch-Out!!

I've been playing this through Animal Crossing and it brings back the memories. But I find it practically impossible to defeat Bald Bull. I figured out how to punch him during his charge but he still beats me every time. Has anyone beaten Bald Bull?

dude, its just the timing!! just punch him in the belly when he charges down and he will drop like a bad habit! i think.

I read that you punch him in the stomach on his third bounce down, but it's hard to time it.

I think I got him knocked out by normal punches a few times and got him in the stomach twice and he still knocked me out. Once you get knocked down twice you're screwed.

I'll get him eventually.

But it sure is a cool game, I love the sound effects. I used to rent it when I was a kid.

I couldn't get anywhere on Tyson, so I just gave up.

I've finished this game undefeated a bunch of times at Thalus's. Try to get stars off of him in the beginning when he does those quick roll punches. Landing a star hit is hard, but it might help. And yeah you can't avoid a bull charge. Just make sure you get that down oh and be quick, don't get hit, the obvious things. You have to fight him again later on and only a star can knock him out, haha so have fun.
After a while even Tyson is easy man trust me.

seriously, how much have you played that game? i managed to beat the kiddy voiced one after using aproximately 3 million save state loads on my emulator.

Heh I just showed the riot video to my family.

The version I'm playing is the Mr Dream one.

I can get a few star hits on Bull but I still lose. I haven't played for a while cause I played Metroid Prime 2 for 5 hours last night.
