Default my car is broken. please help me figure this out.

I ran out of gas the other night and Orenthal James came and helped me out. he drove me to the gas station, i got a gallon and came back and threw it in.

I tried starting the car and it was really difficult. it wouldn't turn over unless i was flooring the gas and holding the key in the ignition position for about ten seconds. and if i wasn't flooring it, the engine would just stop. i can only get up to about 15 mph and when i do drive, my car makes an awful noise and there's an occasional little burst of acceleration with the sound of a pop coming out my exhaust, as though there's a bubble getting caught in the fuel line.

anyway, the few people i've asked about it are telling me that "it's probably a fuel injector problem, but i don't know very much about cars." I feel like a fool for letting this happen. I've been running on less than a quarter tank for about...a month now, running out of gas regularly (1-2 times a week) because im a poor son of a bitch. I know i've been treating this car like shit, but I can't afford not to.

So, all I really need help with is a diagnosis of what the problem is and what inexpensive ways I can fix it.

thank you.

Yep odds are you clogged a fuel lline or an injector. What ahppens when you run out of gas sometimes all teh junk that's flaoting aroun in your tank and sediment and nasty shit that normally never gets used well when the tanks empty all this nast shit can get sucked inot the lines and end up clogging shit. You can try dumping som STP in it, but I doubt taht will help time to take it to a the shop.

I don't know, dude. But my dad always warns me about not letting my car go too far below 1/4 tank, because it'll fuck it up. *shrug*

I'm sorry.

alright. yeah, that's what people are telling me. i'm looking at a schematic diagram of my car right now. which part would most likely be clogged, because i think it may be possible for me to take it out and clean it myself.
